Niacinamide raises serotonin?

What you guys think about this study showing that niacinamide supplementation raises plasma serotonin?
I know that there are many studies showing that niacinamide opposes serotonin, but this one still gives me concern. I am also concerned with the depletion of methyl groups by high dose niacinamide. Thoughts?

Perhaps the lack of methylation is compensated for by excretion of the monoamine neurotransmitters that would otherwise be degraded?

I find that not unlikely, given how some people in here got significant side effects from the drug. I also experienced increased headaches with niacinamide which would point towards a serotonin/histamine issue.

It is also worth mentioning that there are no mortality-powered studies that evaluated the safety of niacinamide supplementation.

the dose makes the poison. niacinamide, in moderate doses, is very good, but it's very easy to overdo, that's it
