Hot hands feet nose - Adrenaline

"Many hypothyroid people compensate with high adrenalin production (sometimes 40 times higher than normal), and this tends to keep the skin cook, especially on the hands, feet, and nose."

I thought adrenaline caused hands, feet, to be cold due to lower circulation. How and why would it make them feel hot?

Must be a typo and should say cold instead of cook.
