What dose to start with Benadryl?

Trying to fix my post nasal drip/muccus thing, also hope it helps in my scalp itch.
Tried cetirizine, didnt see any effect. 10mg daily after dinner.

Gonna try Benadryl soon, but what dose? do I take it right after dinner or wait a bit?

Also seen Cypro recommended but since there's no way to find out what will work better for you i'll start first with Benadry and see if it works, if not then i'll try look with Cypro.

Dude, you are helpless. You've asked about this multiple times before. I told you Benadryl is only going to address a particular symptom by reducing histamine, but it's not going to be a long term solution. Why don't you focus on vitamin deficiencies and raising metabolism and maybe the post nasal drip will go away.

Im waiting on my mineralogram to arrive before I address any of that because im not a broscientist randomly supplementing vitamins when I don't know if I need them.

Meanwhile I want to try anti histamines. Even if you had perfect vitamin levels and whatnot, you may still need anti histamines. Since histamine levels cannot be measured, there's only one way to find out (trying it).

The risk may not be significant in your case, especially if you don't plan on taking it long term, but it might be something to consider.

@phillpeat You don't need antihistamines. And if you want to try them, what are you waiting for?

And you don't need a mineralogram. Just look for improvement in symptoms. As long as you are balancing the vitamins, you cant't get toxicity. Start out with the following:

Vitamin A: 25,000 IU
Vitamin D: 5,000 IU
Vitamin K: 100 mcg
Vitamin E: 400 IU

I don't think you understand what the term "broscience" means either.

"Since histamine levels cannot be measured...".
I've seen this said before...& wondered what is meant by this...
because i have actually had a Blood Histamine test (in Australia), & the 1st google link re this test was http://labtestsonline.org/understanding/analytes/histamine/tab/glance/
which discusses the test

I dont believe in supplementinv vitamins randomly. With K im ok with because it rarely can be bad, but for example, vitamin D when you dont need it can fuck things up real bad. Do some reading on that. I think the vitamin D supplementing crazy was a scam.

I keep hearing histamie fluctuates too much for a test to be relevant.

@kapow so what the fuck do you suggest to treat my symptons.

@phillpeat

I wouldn't worry about that study. Peat says it's safe. Don't buy into everything you read.

Stop being such a pussy and take the Benadryl. You are way too anal and you need to be more open to experimentation. No one cares what you think about the Vitamin D. I told you take the fat soluble vitamins and stop whining.
