Poor old sugar...'it's a dangerous drug'.

Eating Sugar is like Eating Disease!!!

Don't forget Dwight's take on it:

"The sugar, what it does is, it sits in those joints. And once it gets in your blood, it sits in your joints and those joints start to hurt and ache. And over time, they wear down and the sugar causes the joints to break down faster than they normally would."

While I'm not in favor of all these people who love sugar bashing in order to prove they can pay attention to mainstream media and act like they know something, I find I do better on more starch and less sugar. Wheat, meat, and cheese are probably my staples now that I've given up "dieting". Eating intuitively doesn't have me chasing much sugar. Too much sugar causes me insomnia and it doesn't seem to take heaping loads of it to constitute an excessive amount for me as I once thought. I wish I knew that during my ~1.5 years of strict Peat.

Moral of the story - don't preach anyone's advice, regardless of how much evidence they have, until you have been able to log your own experiences with it.

Mac and cheese will always taste better than sugar-and-cheese.

interesting how they say a "high sugar diet" is unhealthy and then on ways to reduce sugar intake they say to just get rid of it altogether.
